Make a plan to vote!
Voting is important and very easy in Fairbanks. The plan should include how you will vote, when you vote, and where you will vote. In Fairbanks, there are great choices.
Vote absentee by mail
You can vote by mail, also known as an absentee ballot: a ballot will be mailed to you that you will then return. If you choose to vote by mail, the deadline to request is October 26th.
Vote absentee online
You can also vote online 15 days prior to the election, starting October 21st through November 4th.
Vote in person
There are two ways to vote in person:
First, you can vote during the in-person early voting period from October 21st - November 4th on Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm, Saturday 10am -4pm, or Sunday from 12pm - 4pm at Region III Elections Office, 675 7th Avenue, Suite A2.
Secondly, you can vote in person at your specified polling location on election day, November 5th from 7am - 8pm at your designated polling location.
